In her marvellously evocative piece Sevens
Taqui refers to her father's unpublished novel of 1917 in which he
lands on Peel Island and feels that the place has become his own.
I have seen no other reference to this novel: does anyone know any more
about it and, in particular, whether the manuscript is still in existence?
All Tarboarders who could not be there may like to know that the
Literary weekend at Rydal lived up to all expectations, and more:
it will certainly be worth ordering the published transactions
when they appear!
