No, if anything this is a little small! Remember that these are small cargo ships, not yachts or fishing boats. Thames Barges, like the "Welcome" of Rochester in "Coot Club", are larger than this.

"Wild Cat" has bunks for Captain Flint and Peter Duck in one part of the deckhouse, the galley in another, and her hold has been converted to make four cabins. Plus stores and engine room.

There are quite a few such little ships about in British waters - the Cirdan Trust's "Lady Galdriel" is one that comes to mind.
