I hope you didn't consider my reply critical of Ian's offer; it wasn't meant to be. I used to own a 27 foot sloop but I had to sell her due to the high cost of maintenance and moorage. My wife also got tired of looking after the chidren every weekend. Long-suffering is also a virtue. If I lived anywhere near Ian Wright, I would certainly go and see him, but only if he let me take the tiller for a while.
