What a wonderful Offer!!!

I am of the second group mentioned below. Have been on a sail boat only once - in Chicago - and it was really great as I was allowed to take the tiller from 'way out by the water intake into the marina. While reading all the chatter about "bachs" (and I always thought that was a family of German composers; but my vocabulary has now been enriched) and "emoticons" below; I am wondering how I could manage a trip to England to do this!

When I first read the Arthur Ransome books, I would go to the city park in Enid, Oklahoma and rent a rowboat and pretend I was the Swallows and Amazons! and that the old gent that rented the boats was Peter Duck.

My problem is, of course, $$$$ and time - my summer is pretty much taken up by making art-stuff to make the money to make more art-stuff - but I do manage occasionally to sneak off and do something wonderful ------ I did cancel my annual journey to New York City as I am going to Aspen in February -- time considerations do override.

I hope Ian gets some enthusiastic takers!!

Eric Abraham
