Excuse my ignorance, but I am almost afraid to ask, just what is a "stink potter"? I make pots (clay vessels -not boats - that one can sometimes place things into) and occasionally they "stink" or are bad (crack, break or otherwise become un-aesthetic for usefulness or beauty). Is this another nautical term? When one thinks they have heard it all, here comes another term! I had a bout with a skunk a while back and I guess I was almost a real "stink potter"!
