I did a scan through the text files of these books, looking for the word, "fairly", and located among the dozens of hits only one that said "fairly brown". This was stated by Nancy in SA during their war with the Swallows, as they slid out of their hiding place in the reeds after the Swallows had gone on up river.
This seems to be the ONLY reference to this expression. If used elsewhere, then I must have missed it. (Not impossible.) Does anyone know of any OTHER place in these stories where the "fairly brown" expression is used?
