The Arthur Ransome Videos page on the AR web site has been updated with information about both of those upcoming DVDs, thanks to a TARS member in the U.K.
A word of caution: Although these are Region 2 DVDs they are probably PAL video format encoding (DVDs have both region constraints and video format encoding it appears) -- so although Japan is Region 2, it uses NTSC; thus a British DVD probably won't play in Japan. On the other hand Australia is Region 4 and uses PAL encoding -- so a British DVD won't play in Australia for an entirely different reason.
