I think "Minas Tirith" was the name of the fanzine that the Czech Tolkein group produced. The topic
that originally appeared on the Tarboard was that somebody noticed a reference to and picture of AR when
looking at the web site of the Czech group and wondered what the connection was (being unable to read
Czech). Peter refers to AR's writing to JRRT about calling goblins "men" in The Hobbit, and JRRT responding
that he will fix it in the next edition if a second edition is called for; this correspondence is in
Signalling from Mars, the Hugh Brogan collection of AR's letters.
FYI Peter "Minas Tirith" means "Tower of Guard".
