Whether or not this is the boathouse used in the film it is the actual boarhouse used by the Altounyans to shelter MAVIS, now called AMAZON until she was reconstructed in the early '90s. It is also the place where AR as a child used to dip his hand in the water to convince himself that he had really 'come home' when he came on holiday to the Lakes.
