Thanks for this information Andrew. I'll have to file it away for the next time I visit England. (I've also got filed Ian Wright's and I believe your offer as well for a sail round to Hamford Water. - You don't need to get worried yet as I have no idea of when I may be able to visit.) When I was there last in 1988 with my wife and daughters we did, in our jet-lagged state find Witches Quay and the Wade but were unable to find Golden Lane which is supposed to lead to the staithe at the head of Secret Water and houses built with stones from old London Bridge. Maybe next time.
