I'm not sure who in TARS (if anybody) collates literary references.

Reading idly through the 2000/2001 edition of the Emmanuel College, Cambridge Magazine (my own College and I now discover that of Roger Altounyan and Ernest Altounyan before him) I found a detailed article by Rhys Willams commemoraring "an idiosyncratic, remarkable and courageous former member". I thought I knew a little of Altounyan history but this article brought in facts about Roger's medical researches, many of which he undertook on himself thus certainly shortening his own life, which I found quite astounding

It may all, of course be well known to those whose business it is to know these things, but it would otherwise be sad if it lay hereafter in such a specialised publication.
