Your own Swallow (aka Murrelet), you, and especially your pirates, are so
lucky! What part of the west coast are you from? I bought my copy of SA, my
first Ransome, when my family and I where on holidays last summer in Ganges
on Saltspring island. In fact the day before I bought SA, we went on a sailing
excursion on a 27ft sloop called Whisper (Captain Nancy would not be too
impressed,eh) If I had only known how much I would want to sail after reading
Ransome, I would have enjoyed the trip much, much more. That is my only sailing
experience thus far so you and your pirates have definitely got me beat!
Ransome for bedtime stories, fantastic! I wish I could read Ransome before bed tonight,
but I have to read my calculus text, exam tomorrow.Did you and your pirates like SA or SD
better? What was your favorite part and who are your favorite charcaters?
What do you think of PD? I am right in the middle of ML right now, so we both get
to experience the magic of PD stories.
