I have always thought that any good book is worth reading again,(and again.)
I am finding out which are my favorite AR books as I reread the series
time and again.
I've read PD once, and that was plenty, but I love and have read all the others
repeatedly except Amazons and Swallows Forever--which made me so mad
I didn't even finish it. (Some goofus abridged AR's work in ways I don't
appreciate.) I choose by season, but some of my favorites are WH, P&M,
PP,CC and WDMTGTS. I think CC and WDMTGTS attract me partly because I live
on a river, and they are essentially river stories. I also like Great
Northern. It's term time, and almost time for WH.
I discover the books have influenced my parenting significantly. I'm much more
liberal now than I ever expected to be. Has that happened to any of
you?
