Did anybody see the item on Countryfile yesterday (Easter Sunday)?

It was mainly about the boats and locations from the SA film. It included a rather pompous chap from one of those reality TV shows (who's grown on me now I know he's a Ransome fan - dreadful isn't it!) showing people Bank Ground Farm, Peel Island, etc. The actresses of Susan and Titty were interviewed. It was very interesting altogether.

I did not hear the 'Great Lives' programme though.
I was a bit relieved when i saw it was a discussion not a drama because I wrote a radio drama framed around a fictionalised conversation between Ransome and Lenin and it was rejected rather forcibly and depressingly by the BBC and I moment's paranoid-egotistical worry that I'd been ripped off!!

Was it good? I assume they must have discussed AR's politics (with John Sergeant being involved) and as that is still probably the most controversial topic we ever stray onto on this board (apart from the layout of Beckfoot, of course) it is intriguing to know what was said. I get quite cross with Hugh Brogan's characterisations of AR's politics, which I've probably mentioned before... Not that I want to get onto that again. But if somebody heard the programme, a short review would be useful!
