I would ask Ed but he is enroute to North Carolina.
Maybe you fed the poor girl - bananas, or she is lost and lonely - my 8 yr old has landed a good wack once or twice usually when she is upset.
It is hard being 11 I suspect in a strange country - and Texas is certainly a strange country.

I think the expression Come-along is very generic and refers to pulling lots of things, the rachet device is commonly referred to as come-along. But mum used that expression as well meaning to follow closely.
