Just to make you all envious -- I was sitting at breakfast this morning in the University cafeteria (they do a surprisingly good breakfast -- perhaps because most of the women working there are Portuguese, like my wife, and so everyone in my family gets extra-large servings) looking out over the little lake where the river running through campus is dammed, watching a solitary Loon (the bird, not one of my dreamier students) busy fishing in the rain. He (or she) was industriously living up the name Diver while hunting for his (or her) own breakfast. Hope he (or she) got extra-large portions, too.
