There's Tarboard - the standard threaded version, like many web discussion forums.
Then provided by a bit of I E-N PERL script "kludging" there's
[ Most Recent Messages and Message Titles ]
I have to scroll down to find the last one I have read, then read up from there.
if it was the other way up you'd still have to scroll down ... ;-)
