Well... '1963' was my introduction to AR and his books and at the time I thought it was fantastic! As I read through the book series - out of order- in subsequent years I carried the beeb's characters in my head and they fitted wonderfuly well! (Even though Cpt Flint turned out to be bald!) I seem to recall finding the two Amazons particularly attractive.(!)
