E-mails announcing local events (like a tea) are highly welcome of course, but pls use [ARSoc] or [TARS] in the subj line, as many of us get a lot of junk mail--
AR by itself is ambiguous because it is currently used for the respected US political org American Renaissance, to which I'm sure a lot of TARSUS belong.
