Adam - as a fellow-graduate of the University of Leeds, I enjoyed the mentions in Hugh Brogan's biography of AR walking across Woodhouse Moor and the like. It is a matter of great regret that I did not know at the time I was spending my three years there that the Brotherton Library held his papers - it would have been a great and welcome diversion from striving for an economics degree to have been able to delve into AR's material and even to have found Captain Flint's trunk before Christina Hardyment (I think she said it was at the Brotherton ?).
