And thanks to Peter and the rest of the team, when I did a similar
search last summer, I was able to find TARS and join it. I am a
lifelong reader of Arthur Ransome, and even took part in the
Mavis/Amazon appeal, but missed out on the beginning of TARS.
It was wonderful to not only find a healthy orginazation, but also
one with a strong presence on the World Wide Web and with a discussion
group no less!
So thanks again Peter. I hope you'll find a computer in the Arctic
now and then so we can all have the benefit of your humor. (I especially
liked your Doghouse Blues)! Best wishes on your Artic venture, and be
