Dear Laurence,

Yes the censorship program is a part of TARboard and is not on this side of the Atlantic. I ran into it when I put the long note about turnip on the board. The program objected to the Spanish word for black which is now vulgar in the USA except amoungst the American community who are descended from the African continent.

I am loath to call them Afro Americans as some have been here for more than 400 years and it is a bit like saying a Prussian - German.

So yes censorship is alive and well.

Some students call me by my last name which is not uncommon in old town Texas.

John
