The programme was Countryfile, the BBC's rural affairs magazine, and the item you mention was a cut down version of the 15 minute "Big Screen Britain" programme made last September, which explored the locations used to make the 1974 film of Swallows and Amazons. It was the Countryfile Production Team who made the Big Screen Britain series, so they were effectively doubling up on their investment by showing the item in their magazine as well as a seperate programme in its own right.

Incidentally for those with access to the BBC, they have copyright to show "Big Screen Britain" ten times and have already shown the full version at least twice, so it is worth keeping your eye on the schedules if you haven't seen it and want to. The BBC are clearly using the material extensively as one of their schedule fillers at the moment.
