Actually 454 g.

And in Australia we were supposedly metricated 30 years ago, but bread is still sold in 450g (ie 16oz) or 680g (ie 24oz) loaves.
"Pemmican" still comes in 340g (ie (12oz) tins.
And I can buy a "15mm" tap which miraclously screws straight onto the ½" British Standard Pipe Thread pipes which were installed in 1925.
