Unless the books get cooked and 2 years and 364 days into your second 3 year period you are appointed as an officer of the Society i.e. Chairman, Deputy Chairman, Secretary or Treasurer he or she could then continue in office for a further 6 years, making 12 in all. The Resolution being recommended by the Trustees was put to the vote and approved by the necessary majority without opposition. Item 13, Special Business, 2003 AGM Minutes.
