Cynthia, I know your interest here and knew you would have questions. The Flesh-Kincaid is something that my teacher wife, Lisa has not heard of. There are of course similar tests on our side of the ocean or border that would relate to our general school levels. It's worth following up just so that Canadian Standards are known. Ed might be able to apply the same chapter to the standards of some other test (I didn't ask Lisa what test should be used). In your home schooling realm this has great possibilities.
