My crew donned her Pirate headgear first thing this morning and we read a few sterling testimonies on the scurvy life of some of the finest sons of sea dogs to sail the seven seas. Lunchtime - barbecued some billygoats and broached a puncheon of grog! (Well, Fast Eddies for Lunch, but we did say, "Ahoy there! I'll take an order of Crazy Fries and two lemonades, ARRRRRR")
Next, off to Flag world to get a sharp new Jolly Roger. Jibbooms and Bobstays - 'tis a fine one! Off to plunder the library for videos - 'Hook', 'Pippy Longstocking', and arrrrrv course, 'Swallers and Amerzuns'! (Only watched one today - a pirate's gotta have a life!)
Also, the Jonah Sing-Along video for the ship's baby.... ahem, er... ARRRRRG! (Okay, that one wasn't so convincing)
Finished off with a treasure hunt indoors as that wench Isabel was in such a foul mood. Had to threaten the crew that she'd be walkin' the plank if she didn't do her 'rithmatic, but keel-hauling, etc was not needed. A bonny day all in all. AAAARRRR! Here's to next September 19th! Avast and shiver me timbers!
