Yes that is the book I was talking about.

Was not the hostage held in a house on the Island? and Hanney got him or her out.

The problem with not letting people read books with prejudices is that we can not show or teach the history of prejudice, and that such prejudices can lead to war. Or that we have evolved as a world since that time - well some part of the world has - but there is still lots of intolerance.

It is a fine line we walk. When I read Buchan I remember clearly that in the 1930's a lot of people admired Hitler cause he got the autobahns built etc........ and shared his racial views. It brings to mind the thought that this happens if we are not careful.

Just a thought.
