I certainly agree with you. It would be a shame if the name and works of Ransome should become exploited to a degree of excessive commercialism.

Perhaps it is difficult to get decent PR going on a product without going to excesses, but I do wish at least a few more of our young people could come to know and be a part of the joys I felt as a young boy. His works meant a lot to me; I learned much from Ransome. To have that source of learning and delight not available simply due to ignorance of its existance is a waste of good material, and our young people are thus denied these delights that meant so much to me.
