Starring: Wendy Hiller, Roger Livesey, Pamela Brown, John Laurie, Finlay Currie

Directed by: Michael Powell, Emeric Pressburger

Wendy Hiller takes the lead role in this classic romantic comedy as a sharp-witted young girl who intends to marry for money. But her mercenary plans go dramatically wrong when she finds herself stranded on a tiny island in the Hebrides and falls for a seemingly penniless young naval officer (Roger Livesey). What she doesn't know, though is that Livesey is actually a Scottish lord, and owner of the island. The fourth collaboration between the legendary Powell and Pressburger, it is also one of their best loved movies, and a personal favourite of Steven Spielberg. Vividly filmed on location on the Isle of Mull.

Yes that is the movie. It was very good.
