Buchan's true claim to fame depends on where you stand.
The GG of Canada is not that important in Texas - as a matter of fact if asked most of my students would be luck to know what a GG is - excpet maybe a horse. (I speak somewhat with tongue in cheek)
From my perspective it is the 39 Steps. Just a brilliant book as were the rest - for the time.
