Your point is well taken. I was of course aware that there were two versions of the reply, and did try to make sure I chose the right version for the cut/paste business, but it is worth my going back through that and verifying that it came out right.

The way I did it was not to try to type the password at all, as I saw that as a very likely place to mess up, so I substituted my own password in the typing, in that I chose "XXX" for the password, "YYY" for the correct reply, and "ZZZ" for the reply of Daisy. When all was done, I went through with a REPLACE function of my editor, and plugged in the proper one. I suppose that is not officially an exact application of cut/paste, but it certainly seemed to do the trick.

It is still worth a recheck to verify all done properly. Mistakes do have an awsome way of creeping into perfectly typed documents.

Ransome gave us these adventures to enjoy. I just made them into another adventure, to help me try to see each detail he gave to us. It was indeed an adventure of exploration, of discovery, to go through that typing exercise. It was time well spent, and never to be regretted.
