The BBC series has been tracked down in the BBC archives. It was made
in 1962 and shown in 1963. I have seen a short excerpt, and can see why
AR disliked it. It has taken the story, and completely rewritten the
script round it. "Additional dialogue by Arthur Ransome" sums it up.
