True: Jethro Tull is as old as gardens - I suppose.

I am not sure if CITN came before or after GN?

Either way the plot problems AR identified for CITN and then left hanging remain.

Knowing the characterisitics of our explorers we can however guess at the type of story AR might have developed had he worked at it instead of retiring.

It would have had about 33 chapters is one thing we can know for sure.

And it would have had an adventure.
