Quite a long while ago Dan Lind was good enough to send me a picture of a Great Nothern Diver (known as a Loon to Canadians) sitting on its nest.
After a bit of fiddling with the photo to remove some background that was inappropriate to my purposes (the bird had huge red letters behind it saying "Canada" -- sorry, Dan) this is the result. I post it in case others would like to see such a great photo of Dick's wonderful bird.
