Britain is dominated by the middle and upper classes and by London. Always has been.
The shipbuilders of Clydeside were marginalised, not by their incomprehensible accents, but by their own uselessness as shipbuilders.
I've built ships from Busan to Belfast and I don't know anyone in my business who would disagree.
