How well did Makoto Oda skate?
We do not often get cold enough weather for lakes to be frozen, but a year ago the fens in East Anglia (UK) were frozen and we went to watch the speed skating races.
Some juniors in our church youth club had their own skates and skated on the ice. It was great fun, but we did not make any semaphore messages!
We wish it would freeze again now. It is not half as much fun on an indoor ice-rink.
