Holy cats! Well, I guess that's one fairly dramatic approach.

And now, with tongue FIRMLY in cheek (and to get the discussion off politics, which bore me, and back onto AR):

An eight-round shotgun would have to be a pump gun. Today it would probably be a Remington 870 or a Mossberg 500, either one with an extended mag tube --I like to think CF would have gone with the Mossberg Mariner model-- but what manufacturer and model would have been used in that era?

Yes, I spend way too much time at the range.
