but who ever said that the Ds were the only 'townies'? We know that the Amazons were based on the lake and of course, those in the Broads books were hardly 'townies'. All well and good, but just as AR spent his 'unreal' life in towns such as Leeds, there is no indication that the Walkers were solid country folk. Or am I missing some deep hidden reference? I'm not counting the references to their boarding schools, I know, but not all those are out in the wilds. And why should the D's have not gone to boarding school too - although it probably is unlikely.

I await my trouncing...........
