If anyone wishes to sample these, may I suggest you try the Masons arms at Strawberry Bank (015395-68486) overlooking the Winster valley (not far from Low Ludderburn).
The landlord, Nigel Stevenson, an obvious Ransomite, started the Lakeland Brewing Company and the beers mentioned by Ian were originally brewed on the premises. He also produces a beer called Captain Flint and his own cider called Knickerbockerbreaker! Sometimes there is a Damson Beer and very occasionally a homebrewed Moroccan ale.
The pub is worth a visit if only to see the huge range of beers available - Nigel produces a list numbering literally hundreds of them.
The wrong colour for Amazon's sail was pointed out at least three years ago but is obviously not going to change!
