Ah! The Mason's Arms! Well, dear TARS, if you DO go there, go early. This splendid hostelry (the food's good, too) tends to fill up very fast, with cars sprawling around the surrounding lanes. Twice we failed to get in, and ended up at the Hare & Hounds, which also serves good grub. {I'm not getting paid for this advertising!). Having tasted the various "S&A" ales at the Mason's, I can report that they are very good, and given sufficient quantity, and the right company, inaccurate labels become less and less of a problem...................
