I have just moved onto a houseboat on the river Cam, and am thinking of renaming her.
She is currently called Seldom Scene... not a bad name, but I would much rather have something more Ransomesk.
So all suggestions.. I am a student doing a PhD in marine biology (penguins and seals), so marine links are good.. and I am a bit cautious of calling swallow or coot.. Amazon may not be bad but something a little more original...
I leave it on your hands...
Any Ransome fans passing by Cambridge are more than welcome to step aboard for a quick mug of hoosh and pemmican ...
