Assuming the presence of the Hall effect creating a slight magnetic
field as the result of running water, I can see how that might have
some effect upon a pair of METAL L-shaped rods, causing them to move
in the hand, but how does magnetism explain the movement of a branch
of a tree, like the hazel fork Titty used?
