the fact remains that bent rods swing, consistently, in the same places, for more than half the people I know who have tried them. Forked twigs are harder but they also twist. I don't know what it means, but although naturally cynical and unimaginative I am in no doubt that some force exists and I am amazed at the number of people who deny this. Why not get a couple of welding rods and try for yourselves?
