Southern Ontario TARS celebrated (a week early) AR's 120th birthday with a fine day at Adam Quinans place in Toronto. Our day included skating on the local "Tarn", consuming a "hot pot" lunch that didn't melt through the ice and lots of socializing. A very nice treat was with world famous story teller Lorne Brown and his friends, who told some Russian Fairy Tales. They also led us in some Sea Shanty singing. Adam had made a very good copy of the North Pole Cake with little marzipan figures around the candle.

It was great to see old friends and to meet some new people as well. Thanks to the Quinan's for opening there home to all of us.
