Not quite 30 inches of snow yet (or 76 cm, as our snow falls in metric) but still plenty of shovelling exercise. Been a bit cold for shorts, though -- minus 42 yesterday morning.

When in Kentucky last summer I got several questions about the electrical plug sticking out from the radiator of my car: "Does you automobile run on electricity?" "No," I reply, "it's to plug in at night (or during a long daytime stop) to prevent from the oil freezing and cracking the engine block." It was assumed I was joking. I wasn't.

At least the sun is shining. Lakeland Cam recently has been very gloomy-looking.
