Dear All:

When I am talking about the rod for the rudder - tiller, I am talking about the hinge piece that provides the pinned fastening to the boat. Sorry sometimes I cam crytic with my English and it gets me into arguments.

I will try later to put the photo on my web site with the first picture of the lofting of the first frame. Now that I have done that one and seen what the problems and then reread Chapelle I think I can layout the rest on one large sheet of paper. At full scale. The difficult bit is the start of the stem between the first and second frames. We are going from a wide v to a narrow v. Anyway it is fun.

I am still a bit stuck on laying up the rabbett? Not sure about the spelling.

My 8 year old was reading the British Manual of Seamanship 1905 and asked why girls can not get life jackets as well in the Navy?

She now knows a yard, boom and mast and job.

Thanks for all the help.

John
