You're right, Jon: the one reference to Susan as 'Susie' that I know is in chapter 25 of Pigeon Post when the moles are hurryng to forestall the alarm that will be spread by the discovery of the string leading under a rock-fall:

"Go it, Rogie," said Titty. Remember poor old Susie."
"Poor old hen," said Roger, and then he remembered that it was mostly his fault that they had gone into the level, and added, "I don't really mean she's a hen."

My feeling is that once Susan has been to hell and back (so to speak) in WDMTGTS, it is no longer possible for her brothers and sister to refer to her as "Poor old Susie", let alone as "Poor old hen." As for Roper, will he ever cease to be, on occasion, "Rogie"?
