Nearest I can get is 'loganberry jam' (WH Ch XIV) 'They were very good loganberries, not at all spoilt by being made into jam. The berries were separate, not squashed'.

I don't know of any raspberry or loganberry jam in the UK now which has unsquashed berries in it, nor which is in a tin. Is this something which was on sale in the 1930s?

(Horticulture note: I have a large loganberry in my garden which has been growing vigorously for some years but has suddenly died in this last winter without explanation. It has been a mild winter here. Anyone know why this might have happened?)
