I was asking a leading question because two different Chinese friends have expressed interest in translating children's books into Chinese, and I should think that the books would do well in China.

There is the technical issue that Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore use orthodox calligraphy whilst Mainland China uses "simplified" but this is capable of being resolved at the touch of a keyboard button, nowadays.
